1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small pieces of text stored or read by a website in the browser. Local Storage and Session Storage serve similar purposes but remain in the browser and are not automatically sent with every request.
Under Section 25 TDDDG, consent is generally required to store or access information on a device. Consent is not required where this is strictly necessary to provide a digital service expressly requested by the user. Any additional processing of personal data is assessed under the GDPR.
2. pharen.de: no tracking cookies
We do not use tracking or marketing cookies on pharen.de. The website works without an advertising-consent banner or cross-site user profiles.
We use Umami for cookieless audience measurement. It processes page views, referrers, browser, operating system, device type, approximate country, selected interactions and the technical performance metrics LCP, INP and CLS, but does not set a tracking cookie. We do not use session recording or Google Analytics on pharen.de.
3. Local preferences on pharen.de
These settings are required for the presentation expressly selected by the user and are not used for advertising. The legal basis is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and, where personal data is involved, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- pharen-locale (Local Storage): remembers the selected language until deleted.
- pharen-privacy-notice-v1 (Local Storage): remembers that the privacy notice was closed until deleted or the notice version changes.
- pharen-launch-waitlist-joined (Local Storage): avoids showing the launch notice after a successful signup; kept until site data is deleted or the launch date changes.
- pharen-launch-banner-dismissed (Session Storage): dismisses the launch notice for the current browser session.
- Motion preference (Session Storage): remembers a manually selected animation setting for the current browser session.
4. External Vimeo placeholders
The temporary service animations are loaded and played automatically as Vimeo embeds when they approach the viewport. In particular, your IP address, page, device and browser data are sent to Vimeo. The browser may also send Vimeo cookies left by an earlier visit.
All embeds use Vimeo's dnt=1 parameter. According to Vimeo, this disables session analytics and new non-essential player cookies; technically necessary security cookies may still be set for secure player operation. The connection and playback are based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in illustrating product functions. See Vimeo's Privacy Policy for more information.
5. Strictly necessary cookies in Pharen Hub
These cookies are required for sign-in, security, navigation and expressly requested previews. They are stored under Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG; related personal-data processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract performance and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for service security.
- jwt_token: access token for the signed-in session; normally up to 2 days.
- jwt_token_refresh or refresh_token: renews the sign-in; normally up to 7 days.
- sidebarState: remembers the selected navigation state; up to 7 days.
- studio_preview_…: protects an expressly opened Studio preview; up to 1 hour.
- Session and CSRF protection data: may be used to associate requests with a session and prevent cross-site request forgery; generally for the session or configured protection period.
6. Functional storage in Pharen Hub
The Hub uses Local Storage to restore expressly selected working states locally, including active workspace or team, language, pinned navigation, panel sizes, editor tools, mailbox and folder selection, unsent drafts, selected AI models and connector preferences. Session Storage supports short-term redirects and technical recovery after a software update.
Depending on the feature, entries remain until changed, signed out, site data is deleted or the browser session ends. They are not used for cross-site advertising. Content such as drafts may contain personal or confidential data; users should sign out and clear browser data on shared devices.
7. Cloudflare Turnstile
On security-sensitive forms, Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical device information and use necessary cookies or similar storage to detect automated access. Without this check, the relevant registration, sign-in or password feature cannot be offered securely.
The legal basis for device access is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and for personal-data processing Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for more information.
8. Managing storage and withdrawing consent
You can view and delete cookies and Local or Session Storage through your browser's website or privacy settings. Removing necessary session data signs you out or resets local views.
Vimeo loads automatically when the service animations approach the viewport. Reloading or leaving the page ends the embedded connection; existing Vimeo cookies can be deleted or blocked in browser settings. Send privacy questions to info@pharen.de.
